Description Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team! Travel to all four locations is required (Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove). Work shifts are based on the assigned physician. Shifts will range Monday ~ Friday scheduled between the hours of 7:45am - 5:00pm. **NEW GRADS WELCOME!!** Barrington Orthopedic Specialists was established in 1980 with a philosophy of treating patients as you would want to be treated. The practice has remained as the premier orthopedic provider of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bones, joints, and muscle injuries and conditions. You would be under the direction of the Physician. General duties would include, obtaining history, physicals & vitals, preparing and maintaining the examination & procedure room(s), assist with examinations, and assisting with procedures and treatments. This individual is also responsible for applying casts, DMEs, removing sutures and assisting with injections. Educate patients on conditions and courses of treatment, and medications. Provide and demonstrate home exercise programs to patients along with processing required paperwork, patient call backs and medication refills.
