Description Assist Head Coach with aspects of the College’s NCAA Division I Women's Track programs. This will include developing student-athletes, coaching, scheduling competitions, recruiting, complying with the NCAA, WCC, and SMC rules and regulations. Coaching emphasis will be working with the throws students-athletes. The assistant coach will also support the academic achievements of student-athletes, assisting with fund-raising and marketing, maintaining collaborative working relationships with administrators and other coaches in the athletic department and across campus. Requirements - Team development which entails being at practices and competitions. - Recruiting by establishing relationships with potential recruits, setting up visits, conducting visits, and more. - Supporting athletes in pursuit of academic excellence - Supporting head coach in fund-raising opportunities - Maintain collaborative working relationships with fellow coaches and admin staff - Other Duties as Assigned Qualifications: 4-year Degree Experience: 3-5 years (Athletics Experience) Other Requirements: Weekend work, travel, evening work
