Description Kondex Corporation is looking for an Atmosphere Heat Treat Operator to join the Atmosphere Heat Treat department. Current Opening on night shift. All shifts will be 12 hours on 2-2-3 schedule (work two days, have two days off, work three days) Night shift hours: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Training will take place on the day shift. Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set-up and operate atmosphere heat treat equipment. Read recipes and work instructions. Follow established machine settings and parameters. Perform lock-out tag-out on equipment. Perform hardness inspections using Rockwell hardness testers and grinders. Close orders in computer system. Perform 5S activities within the cell. Assist in training full-time, part-time, and temporary associates in the department. The responsibilities listed above are not all encompassing of what may be asked of associates in this position. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Ability to perform essential job duties or ability to learn the duties. Ability to at times, to work in a hot environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend/twist regularly. Ability to work in a team environment. Prior experience working with heat treat equipment is preferred.
