Description
Experienced and visionary ATS R&D Lead Engineer to take full responsibility for the technical roadmap, team leadership, and new product development of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) product line. This role requires not only deep technical expertise but also strong leadership and business acumen to deliver market-leading, highly reliable, and forward-looking products that strengthen our global market position and competitive. " 1. Define and execute the mid-to-long-term technology roadmap for ATS products. 2. Analyze industry trends, competitor dynamics, and customer needs; lead advanced research and pre-development of new technologies and platforms. 3. Evaluate and introduce new materials, processes, and technologies (e.g., intelligent controllers, communication modules, condition monitoring) to ensure technological leadership. 4. Lead, motivate, and develop a cross-functional ATS R&D team as technical leader, including mechanical, electrical, and testing engineers. 5. Manage task allocation, project execution, performance evaluation, and talent pipeline development. 6. Foster an innovative, collaborative, and high-performance R&D culture. 7. Drive the entire product development cycle from concept design, technical solution, detailed design, prototype, testing, and validation to mass production. 8. Ensure optimal performance in electrical characteristics, mechanical durability, reliability, safety (compliance with GB/T, IEC, UL standards), and cost control. 9. Focus on breakthroughs in: a) PC class Mechanism / Contact system Design & Optimization: Reliability and fast switching of operating mechanisms (motor drive, electromagnetic drive), meet high Icw performance. b) Arc Extinguishing System Design: Safe and reliable arc interruption across different current ratings. c) Intelligent Controller funciton know-how: Understanding the controller's functions and the customer's specific needs, work with the electronics team to develop controllers that meet the requirements. 10. Work closely with marketing and sales to translate market needs into clear product requirements and technical specifications. 11. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure design for manufacturability and resolve technical issues during production. 12. Partner with quality teams to establish and refine product quality standards and testing processes. 13. Build and protect the company's IP portfolio; lead patent applications and strategic IP planning. 14. Represent the company in industry or national technical standard development and revision. 15. Know-how Solid state ATS key CTQ and design principle. 16. 1.Bachelor's Degree and above in Mechanical Engineering, prefer master 2.8 or more years experience in PC Class ATS products design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management rols perfer. 3.Proven experience leading completePC-class ATS development projects, experienced in mechanism design perfer." 4. Expertise in ATS core technologies: switching device theory, arc characteristics and extinguishing technology, electromagnetic mechanism design and calculation, motor control, intelligent trip unit principles. 5. Familiar with ATS-related standards: IEC 60947-6-1, GB/T 14048.11, UL 1008. 6. 7. Excellent problem-solving ability to tackle complex technical challenges. 8. Rich material knowledge and an expert in the use of Pro-E, AutoCAD or other software design tools. 9. Strength innovative sense and related design thinking knowledge, initiate original idea on products promotion. 10. Have knowledge on FEA/FMEA simulation, some experience prefered; 11. Experience in utilizing DFSS method to solve technical issues, as well as customer application problem. 12. Good understanding of commercial markets and the environmental requirements and related qualification testing required. 13. Extensive knowledge of a wide variety of low voltage system applicaiton." 14.Good communication skill, fluent English both in written and oral;
