The role, based in Williamtown, NSW, over sees the transition of the extant various air, land and specialist training programs that support the ADF execute advanced test and training exercises, as the ADF looks to the future of its ATTE needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Transition Period Day-to-day interactions at the 05/06 level with AWSPO and other Defence stakeholders, as the new ATTE framework is established Identifying and pursuing opportunities to provide additional services and support the customers test and training needs In partnership with AWSPO, ensuing adherence to the project schedule for implementation of the new ATTE framework Access, identify, and manage transition risk and opportunity ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and regulations Provide key communications and stakeholder management within the team by providing mentoring, coaching and development recommendations to ensure that they have the required capability to transition to the new ATTE framework Liaison with Commonwealth System Program Offices and other ADF organisations to ensure that Commonwealth expectations are met throughout the transition period Work in close collaboration with other team leads, senior managers, and discipline/functional leads regarding overall resource availability and competency to deliver transition outcomes most effectively and efficiently Post Transition Ensuring a strong safety culture within the ATTE project team, with of focus on safety first, ensuring that all EHS requirements in relation to ATTE capability delivery are in place and managed throughout capability delivery Overall accountability for the successful delivery of ATTE capability to Defence Portfolio leadership, including mentoring and coaching of the project team Relationship management with key ATTE stakeholders across Defence and with key Subcontractors Ensure compliance with company process Finance accountability to deliver within budget Travel may be required with Australia to fulfill the requirements of this role. Skills, Experience and Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification in either, Program or Business Management, or equivalent experience; with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a Defence project management role, or relevant experience Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team Strongly developed leadership and interpersonal skills and able to influence stakeholders and the ability to develop solutions that meet complex customer requirements Demonstrated change management experience resulting in successful implementation of a new/revised organisational structures and cultures Demonstrated focus on delivering the best possible outcome and attends to all details required to deliver the right solutions at the right time and commitments are met on budget and schedule Demonstrated capability with Earned Value Management, including delivery of quarterly Estimates to Complete Hold or be eligible for an NV-1 security clearance to perform the role.
