Description

As the Attendance & End Point Assessment (EPA) Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring apprentices remain engaged and progress smoothly towards the successful completion of their apprenticeship. You will monitor attendance, support intervention strategies, and coordinate all aspects of the End Point Assessment process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Attendance Monitoring & Learner Engagement:

  • Track and record apprentice attendance, identifying patterns of absence and implementing early intervention strategies.
  • Proactively contact learners with attendance concerns and provide support to re-engage them. * Work closely with tutors, employers, and support staff to ensure learners maintain regular attendance and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and produce reports for internal stakeholders and funding compliance.

End Point Assessment (EPA) Coordination:

  • Act as the main point of contact for End Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs), tutors, employers, and apprentices.
  • Schedule and coordinate End Point Assessments, ensuring all necessary documentation and requirements are met.
  • Provide guidance to apprentices on the EPA process, including key deadlines, assessment components, and expectations.
  • Ensure timely submission of assessment materials and liaise with EPAOs to track progress and results.
  • Maintain compliance with apprenticeship standards and funding regulations, ensuring EPA requirements are met.

General Administration & Compliance:

  • Ensure attendance and EPA processes align with ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) guidelines and internal policies.
  • Support quality assurance processes and contribute to audit and inspection preparation.
  • Identify and escalate potential safeguarding concerns linked to attendance or learner disengagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A good standard of education, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in education, training, or working in an apprenticeship delivery setting is essential. * Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and work independently.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds and supporting them in their learning journey.
  • A flexible approach, including a willingness to work outside of standard hours when required.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and welfare responsibilities to ensure a safe learning environment for all learners.
  • Suitable enhanced DBS check required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
