We are currently recruiting for a Foreclosure Attorney licensed in Indiana. This position is a remote/work from home role but will be required to attend court hearings in the Indianapolis area weekly, so candidates must live locally and be willing to attend in-person hearings. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Drafting and reviewing legal documents for second level review of the Supervising Attorney Organize case files, track legal deadlines and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics. Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales. Assist in preparation in advance of appearances. Collaborate with members of the state team. Actively participate in weekly state meetings. Engage with Supervising Attorney in a one-on-one weekly meeting. Requirements J.D., licensed in Indiana and in good standing in all jurisdictions Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

The attorney will draft and review legal documents while managing case files and tracking deadlines. They will also represent the firm in court hearings, mediations, and sheriff's sales while collaborating with the state team.
