Overview Attorney - Healthcare Associate works under the direction of The Chief of Strategy, Policy & Legal Affairs, the Health Care Associate Attorney will assist with a wide variety of the legal matters for Capital Caring Health. This will include bringing their legal background to support the organization’s development and participation in value based health care arrangements. Activities include, but are not limited to, contract negotiation and management, preparation of innovation health care agreements, compliance, review of healthcare policy and regulations, real estate, and other matters pertaining to the daily operations of Capital Caring Health Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Location: Falls Church, VA COVID-19 vaccine required to be completed upon start. Responsibilities Reviews, researches, educates and make recommendations to senior leaders, in accordance with federal, state, and local healthcare, business, and regulatory guidelines, laws and regulations. Qualifications Experience Requirements Must have three years of progressively responsible and relevant legal experience. Knowledge of health care law issues desired. In addition, it is vital to have an understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and healthcare finance. Experience with drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts is desired. Education Requirements Must have a Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school. Required Certificates and/or Licenses Must be licensed to practice law in either Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia.
