Micronesian Legal Services Corporation (MLSC) seeks to increase access to justice throughout Micronesia, through a network of regional offices in the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the Republic of Palau. MLSC is seeking applications for the position of Attorney in our office on Majuro. Qualifications: Have graduated from an ABA-accredited law school; or be admitted to practice before the highest court of a jurisdiction where that court's jurisprudence is based upon the common law tradition; and Admitted or eligible to be admitted to practice in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. General Responsibilities: MLSC increases access to justice primarily through three strategies: comprehensive civil legal services, from advice to representation in court; providing community legal education; and collaboration with others. We welcome applications from attorneys with experience and enthusiasm for advocating for low income communities using all three strategies. The attorney will handle a wide variety of civil cases, conduct community outreach and education, and participate in collaborative efforts. Compensation and Benefits: Compensation includes an annual salary from $43,784 to $60,600 depending on experience, and generous benefits will be provided.
