ATTORNEY RECRUITING COORDINATOR - WEST COAST

Division: Associate, Counsel, Law Student, and Virtual Office Division
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Candidates must reside in Northern California, Oregon, or Washington). This role offers the flexibility to work fully remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, with the option to work from a Fisher Phillips office two to three days per week, if desired.

Overview: Fisher Phillips is a global labor and employment law firm. We are seeking a dynamic Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to help grow our pool of exceptional talent and support the firm’s strategic growth. This role will play an important part in supporting the strategic growth of our California, Oregon, and Washington offices.
As an integral member of the Attorney Recruiting Team, the Attorney Recruiting Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes for associate and counsel level hiring efforts. Additionally, this role will actively contribute to summer and first-year recruiting initiatives as appropriate. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and may be based in northern California, Oregon, or Washington.
This position reports to the West Coast Manager of Attorney Recruiting within the Associate, Counsel, and Law Student Recruiting team, and will work closely with recruiting colleagues and attorneys across multiple offices.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree is required for this role. Three or more years of law firm recruiting experience and/or attorney search firm experience is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing is preferred. Familiarity with iManage and viGlobal is a plus. Must enjoy utilizing and leveraging new technologies to increase efficiencies.
  • Team Collaboration: Displays well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, as well as the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a spirit of mutual support.

    The estimated annualized salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 for candidates residing in California, and $65,000 to $80,000 for candidates residing in Oregon or Washington. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities
  • Source and screen candidates for lateral positions.
  • Prepare comprehensive interview summaries and present qualified candidates to respective offices.
  • Regularly engage with regional managing partners to fulfill staffing requirements and provide timely updates on the recruitment pipeline.
  • Plan and coordinate all stages of the attorney recruitment process; this includes scheduling interviews, maintaining communication with candidates and attorneys, preparing offer letters, facilitating post-offer outreach, and initiating new hire onboarding procedures.
  • Partner with approved search firms to source and recruit candidates, ensuring strong alignment with firm needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Create and maintain regular reports and statistical data on hiring activity.
  • Process expense reimbursement requests as needed.
  • Work on special projects to further innovate the recruiting process as necessary.
  • Support on-campus recruiting and the Summer Clerk Program in collaboration with the broader Attorney Recruiting team.
  • Provide support to other offices, team members and special recruiting initiatives as needed.
