Mō te tūranga | About the role As a Payroll Officer with our Australia Payroll team, you will be an active participant in processing payroll for over 5,000 employees to ensure employees are paid on time and accurately and in accordance with their specific employment agreement conditions, company benefits and relevant legislations. This is a 12-months fixed term based in our Christchurch Corporate office in Burnside. We are looking for someone with a continuous improvement mindset, a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and a team player Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Own and manage assigned payroll portfolio. Ensure all pays are processed on time and accurate. Process and prepare payroll in accordance with employment agreements, company policy and relevant legislation. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with Minimum of 3 years proven experience processing payroll for a large employer (over 500 employees) or solid NZ experience processing complex payments for multiple entities. Working knowledge of Australian Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation. Experience in payroll system: PayGlobal is preferred.
