Description:

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or platform engineering.
  • Expertise in AWS (e.g., EC2, RDS, Route 53, WAF); Alibaba Cloud/Tencent Cloud is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Shell, Python), and CI/CD tools.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (written and verbal).
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar are advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Sydney team. This position plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing cloud infrastructures, emphasizing automation, security, and reliability. Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential to collaborate with global teams and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Tencent Cloud.
  • Ensure security, reliability, and compliance with global and local regulations.
  • Implement and oversee DevSecOps practices to ensure compliance and security across the deployment lifecycle.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Tencent Cloud.
  • Configure and enhance DNS, CDN, routing, and firewall security strategies.
  • Build and manage deployment, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., Jenkins, Jumpserver).
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and implement hardening measures.
  • Manage system performance monitoring, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, product release processes, and data access controls.
