SUMMARY: This is an entry-level position that is responsible for the presentation of consignment items, which includes sorting, imaging, cleaning, labeling, data entry, and some heavy lifting. LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Pre-auction tasks Enter item information into the computer system accurately Ensure all items are imaged promptly Prepare (sort, clean, and label) items for auction Must be comfortable with day-to-day heavy lifting Post-auction tasks Prepare orders for shipping in compliance with established procedures Ship orders immediately after auctions. Process and forward items remaining onsite until payments are received Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or issues Other duties may be assigned Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook and Excel Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail Individuals must be comfortable lifting to 50 pounds WORK ENVIRONMENT: Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment; hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; able to work overtime as needed during peak seasons. This is a non-traveling position; all work will occur at Heritage Auctions headquarters.
