Description
Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Auction Pick-Up Center Associate to manage the intake, storage, & pick up of auction items. This role is primarily responsible for performing "Put Away" duties, ensuring every item is correctly scanned, located, and stored in the warehouse using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and scanner devices. Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): ? Inventory Put Away & Location Management: ? Utilize a handheld scanner device and the WMS app to perform the daily 'APC Put Away' function. ? Accurately scan the cruiser/bay location using the QR code to verify the precise storage spot (e.g., FLO-24-11). ? Scan the Lot Code barcode for each product, ensuring the correct items are assigned to the verified bay location. ? Inventory Arrangement & Organization: ? Physically arrange products neatly within the assigned bay, ensuring Lot Codes remain visible for future verification. ? Maintain strict organization standards: no more than two boxes high, with longer boxes placed horizontally. ? Consistently seek out and fill empty bay spaces to maintain optimal warehouse flow and organization. ? Inventory Discrepancy Resolution: ? Address 'Unassigned Pull Items' (items processed at the Central Processing Center but not yet linked to an auction). ? Pull the unassigned item and use the 'Add Lot' function within the WMS to immediately assign it to an available auction created at the APC. ? Quality Control & System Completion: ? Manually scroll and verify all scanned Lot Codes on the device screen before completing the task to prevent improper scans. ? Ensure the green 'Complete' button is clicked after finishing a bay; this action officially assigns the product's Warehouse Location, which is vital for the customer's pick-up receipt on the BidFTA app. ? Understand the importance of timely scanning, as the location must be scanned in a 'Put Away' for it to appear on the customer's pick-up receipt. This description is not all encompassing and may require additional activities. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or retail stockroom environment is preferred. ? Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is non-negotiable. ? Comfortable using handheld scanning devices and basic warehouse management or inventory software (WMS). ? Ability to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver inventory throughout an entire shift. ? A self-starter who can work independently and maintain a high level of productivity.
