Eddisons is a leading firm of Industrial Auctioneers and Valuers operating primarily in the UK and internationally. We are also one of the leading auctioneers in the insolvency sector.
We are currently looking for an experienced Office Administrator. This position will play a vital role in the customer service and organisational strength of our company. The Office Administrator will provide administrative and marketing support to the auctions and valuations team, greet and direct visitors and answer and respond to calls and emails. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanor. You will be working as part of a small fast paced administration team, preparing auctions for listing online, preparing marketing and communication materials promoting the auctions, sales and services. You will be working closely with the buyers to ensure collections and payments runs smoothly and liaise effectively with clients offering auction support and assistance.
Key Responsibilities
· To complete the preparation and dispatch of marketing materials within agreed timescales, as required using a variety of computer packages
· To prepare communications using a range of Social Media to promote auctions, sales and services
· To prepare auction sales, co-ordinate collections and monitor payments
· To communicate effectively with customers to enhance the company’s reputation.
· To adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health & safety and quality management.
· Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
Education and Experience Requirements
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft and Adobe Acrobat
· Able to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision
Hours of Work
· Monday – Thursday 9am-5.30pm
· Friday 9am -5pm
