As an Audio Designer at Lighthouse Games, you will work with the rest of the development team to design and implement new and exciting audio features and soundscapes, with limited supervision from your Lead. You will use your creativity and drive to push for higher quality in everything you do, and proactively seek opportunities to improve our title and audio processes. You will demonstrate the desire to develop your personal and professional skills, engaging with other disciplines to broaden your experience of the development process. Key Duties Include To produce good quality work with limited supervision, following all submission processes and guidelines To conduct thorough testing of audio components for clarity, balance, and integration within the game To work with your Lead to plan out work, and reliably and consistently deliver according to those plans To produce clear and detailed technical documentation for audio processes and asset management To work and communicate with other team members in a friendly, polite, and professional manner To independently engage with members of other disciplines where appropriate Pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the quality of everything we do Actively take part in and encourage our collaborative and creative team spirit Experience of at least one full production cycle as an audio designer for video games Experience supporting other team members Highly proficient with audio middleware (Wwise preferred) and audio production software Solid recording and audio production skills Strong Critical Listening, Problem Solving, and Communication skills Keen ear for detail, and strong quality control Work cross-discipline to deliver a strong and cohesive playing experience Passionate about video games and sound design Desirable Experience working in Unreal Engine 4 or 5 Experience working in REAPER Experience working with current generation consoles Experience working in dialogue pipelines Experience casting voice talent 25 Days Holiday, plus 1 day for your birthday Studio Shutdown between Christmas and New Year Discretionary Bonus Scheme Private Pension Scheme Private Healthcare Health and Well-Being Benefits Dental Care Optical treatments Mental Health Support
