REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric,
  • Minimum 5–8 years of B2B sales experience
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong sales psychology and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated, energetic and entrepreneurial
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written). Additional languages (e.g. Afrikaans, other local languages) are advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle – travel within SA is essential
  • Able to work remotely/home-based and independently, with discipline to manage flexible hours.
  • Willing to put in extra effort (evenings or weekends) when needed for client events.
  • Familiarity with CRM and standard office software. Prepared to occasionally represent the company at industry exhibitions or training events.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in corporate AV, events, tourism, education, government and related sectors
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold outreach, networking and industry events
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and on-site product demonstrations of tour-guide, PA and microphone systems
  • Show technical features clearly to clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Understand customer needs and advise on appropriate solutions from the product range (and related offerings)
  • Provide excellent post-sale support and training.
  • Develop proposals, quotations and bids
  • Negotiate terms and close deals
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Keep accurate records in CRM (leads, forecasts, sales)
  • Work with management on marketing strategies, and coordinate with technical support for installations
  • Provide market feedback for product development and pricing
  • Willingness to travel if needed across South Africa (and occasionally regionally) to meet clients and attend trade shows
