Job Details Job Location: Colleyville Campus - Colleyville, TX Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Department: Production Reports to: Central Production Pastor Status: Non-Exempt- Full-Time Supervisory Role: No Date Updated: 9/8/25 Objective: The Audio Manager oversees all audio needs at the Colleyville and Compass Center Buildings Essential Job Functions: Every staff member is expected to fully engage in the ministry of the church. This includes attending a weekend service, tithing. Main Weekend Services: Mix and oversee all audio aspect for the weekend services. Help with troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of technical equipment across all campuses, venues and rooms at Compass as assigned. Run audio production needs for events (ministry and non-ministry) as needed or assigned. Recruit and train team members. Assist the production team with stage design as needed or assigned. Assist in producing and mixing content for all ministries of the Colleyville Campus as needed. Student Ministry: Oversee all audio needs for student ministry events. Work with student team to execute their vision for all student events. Central Development: Oversee audio equipment across all campuses Oversee development of audio staff and standards across all campuses Training & Volunteers: Ensure all operators of audio equipment are properly equipped and trained for each service/event. Maintain a checklist of “best practices” and communicate that during times of training and oversight. Technical Systems: Ensure working audio equipment in a manner that fits the specific needs & culture of the service/event. Responsible for keeping Production areas (Backstage, FOH, Production Storage Areas) clean and tidy. Equipment upgrades and purchasing decisions go through the Production Director. All other tasks, duties or projects as assigned by the Production Director. Work Schedule: Full-Time – 40 hours per week Regular Office hours: Monday 9am-5pm Tuesday 9am-5pm Wednesday 10am-8:30pm Thursday 1pm-8pm Friday OFF Saturday OFF Sunday 6:30am-1pm Qualifications Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Current with latest best practices of live audio mixing Minimum 5 years of live audio experience Familiar with Venue S6L sound consoles preferred Work well with the production team and worship team to execute the weekend services at a high level High degree of initiative, accountability and attention to detail Prompt response and resolution to constructive feedback from the Production Director Good problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and avoid potential problems before they happen Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly under pressure and to adjust, when needed, to the changes in priorities or conditions of the fast paced production industry Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and cooperatively as part of a team Ability to maintain constructive, positive relationships with co-workers Professional attitude and appearance; positive spirit and enthusiasm Education Requirement: 4 year degree in live production/audio or equivalent practical experience
