KESQ/CBS Local 2/KDFX-Palm Springs has an immediate opening for a part time Audio Operator to support live evening, weekend morning and other studio productions. The role also includes light graphics preparation. Shifts will vary based on operational needs. The Audio Operator is responsible for controlling microphone, video clip, music, live shot, and other audio sources within live newscasts, as well as studio setup and strike. Ideally, candidates will have recent live news and/or studio production experience. Position may require cross training on other technical duties including directing newscasts. Must be dependable, an excellent communicator, and work well under pressure. 401k and PTO provided.    Pay Range: $17-$17.50 per hour.
