We are currently looking for an A/V Technician to join our team for commercial audio-visual installations in the DC/VA/MD area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently, both of which are essential for success in this role.
Please note that this position is not for event A/V Technicians. We are specifically searching for technicians with experience in commercial and permanent installations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* At least two years of experience with installation and integration within the Commercial/Pro Audio Video industry.
* Preferably, experience in the construction industry.
* Proficiency in installing projectors and related equipment.
* Basic understanding of control systems, specifically Crestron, Extron, and AMX.
* Extensive experience with structured cabling.
* Experience in terminating RJ45, DB9, HD15, and RCA connectors.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and architectural plans.
* Expertise in rack fabrication and wire management is essential.
