JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Sr Manager of AV Technologies, the Audio, Visual & Scoring Systems Manager is responsible for supporting, maintaining, designing, installing, operating, and repairing a wide variety of Audio-Visual equipment and systems for the Department of Athletics and Business Advancement. This position also supports Athletics and Business Advancement events and functions, including on-site support where necessary. Most of these events are night and weekend events. Prepares drawings and technical reports and produces documentation. Also assists with AV Infrastructure implementation, support, and best-practices. Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates student staff. Prepares work orders and other documentation. Assists with inventory and purchase of supplies and equipment. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Able to work regular work days, as well as some nights and weekends, and occasionally holidays; Able to lift at least 10 pounds; Able to climb ladders and operate AEPs and other work-required equipment. Preferred experience with Crestron, QSys, Meyer, OES, Daktronics
