We are currently seeking technician(s) to undertake installations of AV, Access Control, infrastructure cabling, and Surveillance systems across Ottawa and the surrounding region, and the area extending from Kingston to Montreal..
Candidates must possess:
- Good experience using hand tools (Drill, cable cutter/stripper, soldering,…)
- Ability to work independently or be part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in many mediums
- Be eager and willing to add to their knowledge base and skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Have Clean Criminal Record
Job Tasks:
- Installation and mounting of Audio, Video and Control equipment according to design specs.
- Pull various types of cables through wall, ceiling, conduits…
- Cables terminations and soldering
- Mounting equipment such as displays, projectors, screens, cameras, speakers, microphones, etc…
- Build systems following technical drawings such as equipment connections diagrams, floor plans, elevation, etc..
- Rack population and equipment connections
Priority will be giving to individuals with:
- Government issued Security Clearance
- Industry Certifications such as CTS, WHMIS and Working at Heights
- Technical Education
- Clean Driving Record and owns a vehicle
