Mercian Events is a leading live events and production company, delivering outstanding technical support for conferences, exhibitions, awards nights, product launches, and corporate events across the UK. We are now looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Audio Visual Technician to join our growing team.

THE ROLE

As an Audio Visual Technician, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality technical solutions for our clients. You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and de-rigging audio, video, and lighting equipment at live events, ensuring a seamless and professional experience every time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, lighting, and staging equipment. Throughout the UK.
• Provide on-site technical support throughout events.
• Work as part of a team to deliver productions to the highest standards.
• Maintain and prepare equipment in the warehouse between events.
• Deliver excellent customer service, representing Mercian Events in a professional manner.
