JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment in various settings, ensuring high-quality performance for events and presentations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for delivering exceptional audio-visual experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems as they relate to audio visual setups.
  • Ability to read schematics and implement designs accurately.
  • Experience with low voltage wiring and electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual systems including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Perform software troubleshooting to resolve issues with AV equipment and related technologies.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on all audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble AV setups as needed.
  • Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of AV systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to understand specific requirements for events or installations.
  • Provide technical support during events, ensuring all equipment operates smoothly throughout the duration.
  • Work with low voltage systems and have a solid understanding of electrical experience relevant to AV technology.
