Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a wide range of A/V equipment to support live events, corporate meetings, and presentations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the audio/visual industry, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the audio/visual industry (corporate, live events, or commercial A/V work)
  • Strong understanding of A/V systems and related technologies
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment
  • Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical certifications such as AVIXA CTS or equivalent
  • Experience with video editing software and live streaming platforms
  • Familiarity with control systems and basic networking

Responsibilities

  • Operate soundboards, projectors, microphones, video switchers, and lighting systems

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in real-time
  • Coordinate with clients, presenters, or internal teams to meet specific A/V requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance, equipment testing, and inventory tracking
