SUMMARY

We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team at Slinger Solutions Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of advanced audio-visual systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional technology solutions to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven knowledge and experience in AV system installation.
  • Strong understanding of cabling installations, terminations, and signal flow.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are required.
  • A solid understanding of construction principles and practices is considered an asset.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and performing service calls is a significant asset.
  • Control system programming (Crestron, Control4, Lutron) is also an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the installation of audiovisual systems, including but not limited to, video conferencing solutions, projectors, displays, speakers, and control systems.
  • Ensure all installations are completed according to project specifications, industry standards, and company quality guidelines.
  • Perform accurate and professional cabling installations, terminations, and testing.
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and technical support on project sites.
  • Conduct on-site service calls, diagnose, and troubleshoot AV system issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, parts used, and system configurations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and inventory.
