Directly reporting to the Supervisor, Audio Visual, the Audio-Visual Technician serves a critical role in the Student Center Complex and Conference Services (Shalala Student Center, Whitten University Center, Rathskeller, Lakeside Patio/Stage, Lakeside Village, Foote Green, and the Rock Plaza), in overseeing the daily operation of audio-visual equipment and providing audio-visual expertise and assistance to all events and activities throughout the Student Center Complex. The Audio-Visual Technician provides multi- media equipment and support to a wide variety of events including musical and theatrical performances as well as lectures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
Highly Desirable/Preferred
Experience working with stage lighting, gobos, light blending, and lighting boards/consoles/software; Experience with Crestron, Extron, Dante, and/or other integrated audio/visual equipment and systems.Strong written and oral communication skills.
