OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audio-visual systems, with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience, ensuring that all audio-visual equipment is maintained and operational for various events and installations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in audio-visual technology or a related field.
• Strong skills in software troubleshooting and mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with electrical instrumentation (E & I) practices is preferred.
• Proficient in using voltmeters for testing equipment functionality.
• Ability to read and understand schematics related to audio-visual systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Utilize cabling techniques to ensure proper connections and signal integrity.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of AV systems.
• Employ mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
• Conduct field service visits to client locations for setup, maintenance, or troubleshooting as needed.
• Telecommunicate with team members and clients to coordinate service schedules and address any technical concerns.
