JOB SUMMARY

Atlantis University, a prestigious institution known for its commitment to excellence in education invites applications for the position Audiovisual Communications Producer.
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Producer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of various media projects from conception to completion. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in video editing and post-production processes.
This role is in charge of contributing to the Marketing & Communications Department by creating and managing the university’s media and audiovisual contents and assets, administering the Atlantis Media Studio, supervising and directing audiovisual content editing, overseeing social media accounts, strategies, and planning, and providing support in marketing strategies and creative ideas.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in media production, or communications.
  • At least three years of work experience in the multimedia production field.
  • Strong technical skills in audio and video equipment, editing software, and graphics creation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing hardware/software issues.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in video editing and production, particularly using Adobe Premiere.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives for various media formats.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interpret feedback constructively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Content Production: Planning, shooting, and editing high-quality audiovisual content, including videos, animations, and multimedia presentations, that is aligned with the organization’s branding and messaging.
  • Creative Direction: Conceptualize and develop creative ideas and concepts for audiovisual projects, ensuring they resonate with Atlantis University’s target audience and effectively communicate key messages.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling scripts and narratives for audiovisual content, including testimonial videos, podcasts, interviews, commercial videos, athletics media days, and photo sessions, maintaining consistency in tone and messaging.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire production process, from pre-production planning and scripting to post-production and editing, ensuring projects are delivered on time
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction when needed it.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in audiovisual production, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to enhance the quality and impact of content.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing managers, graphic designers, and content writers, to integrate audiovisual elements seamlessly into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all audiovisual content, conducting thorough reviews and revisions to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of audiovisual content, using data and insights to inform future strategies and optimize engagement and conversion rates.
  • Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with external vendors, such as production studios and freelance talent, to supplement in-house capabilities and ensure scalability and flexibility in project execution.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all audiovisual content complies with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as ethical standards, including copyright, privacy, and accessibility considerations.
  • In 2024, this role objective is to expand and grow within our academic programs a new offer in the areas of Digital Marketing and Multimedia content creation to be launched by the fall semester 2024. Additionally, we want to start offering the facilities of our studio to serve as an outsourced recording studio for podcasts, photography and Chroma keying projects.
