(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.) We are seeking for a highly motivated Audit Officer who is passionate to develop his career in the professional internal audit in WestK. Opportunities of exploring audit assignments that may encompass world-class cultural institutions and artistic units including M+, Hong Kong Palace Museum, and WestK Performing Arts, as well as sizable development projects and critical back-of-house functions of the District. This position offers valuable job exposure of contributing to the enhancement of governance, risk management, and internal controls of WestK, during which you may have chances to meet with WestK Management. You will be responsible for: assisting in executing internal audit assignments and/or ad-hoc assignments, and following up on status of audits; assisting in co-ordination and facilitation of risk management activities; and supporting departmental administration tasks. performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. You should: possess a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Auditing, Finance or other relevant disciplines; have approximate 1-3 years’ working experience in auditing, accounting or equivalent; Recent graduate with good potentials would also be considered. recent working experience in performing internal audit assignments/risk management activities would be advantageous; preferably be a member or student member of CPA, CIA, or relevant professional institutions; attend to details, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and proactively communicate with various stakeholders; and be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
