AUDIT SENIOR | FORT LAUDERDALE, FL / WEST PALM BEACH, FL | HYBRID SCHEDULE

We have partnered with a a top 20 CPA firm in South Florida who have grown rapidly over the last 20 years. Now looking to expand even further into the future, this firm are seeking an Audit Senior to join either its Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach offices. This is a high-impact role with direct client interaction, complex tax work, and a clear path for career advancement. They are looking to progress individuals at the Senior level to Partner within the next 10 years as they expand offices & their area of operations. They make sure their employees get a work-life balance, offering a hybrid work schedule with a maximum of 50 hours per week during busy season.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting
• Demonstrated progress to pursue a CPA License
• 3+ years of public accounting experience in audit
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, FASB standards, and audit methodology
• Working knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ProSystem fx Tax, Engagement, and Fixed Assets is a plus.

• Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning through completion
• Ensure compliance with audit standards and timelines
• Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff, fostering a strong team culture
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and senior management
• Perform and review complex audit procedures across diverse industries
• Work directly with Partners to oversee full firm audit proccesses.
