KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or studying at the Advanced stage (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills & experience in building strong client relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage workload under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive team player with a flexible approach.
  • Knowledge of accounting and audit regulations.
  • Strong Excel skills, including complex functions.
  • Supervisory experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Audit Senior, you will co-manage client relationships and lead small audits from planning to completion. You will supervise junior staff, review financial statements, and provide recommendations to improve clients’ accounting systems and controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee audit assignments.
  • Plan audits from start to finish, including reviewing financial statements, preparing management letters, and liaising with technical experts.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with Audit Managers, making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with group auditors and manage group reporting requirements.
  • Occasional travel/overnight stays may be required for specific audits.
