Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
• Review and analyze financial statements and internal controls, identifying areas of risk and recommending improvements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, clearly communicating findings and suggestions to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments to develop audit plans tailored to client needs and industry specifics.
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and ensure a smooth audit process.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed insights and advice.
• Engage in client relationship management, building trust and ensuring a high level of service.
• Participate in business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for expanding services to existing clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is mandatory, demonstrating expertise in auditing standards.
• A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant work experience in auditing, preferably within a public accounting firm.
• Experience in leading audit engagements and managing teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Familiarity with various accounting software and audit tools, ensuring efficient audit processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings to clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.
• Cultural adaptability and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus to engage with diverse clients.
