POSITION OVERVIEW

The Audit Supervisor will oversee the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while leading a team of auditors. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and managing risk within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and internal control frameworks.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and audit techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Review and analyze financial statements to assess accuracy and completeness in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement internal control processes to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies based on identified risks.
  • Train, mentor, and lead a team of junior auditors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address audit issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
