POSITION OVERVIEW

The Audit Supervisor will lead audit teams in the execution of comprehensive audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing valuable insights to enhance the organization’s internal control systems. This position plays a critical role in financial reporting and risk management, all while fostering a collaborative team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Proficient in GAAP and IFRS standards, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively convey audit findings and collaborate with teams.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate audit staff in executing audit assignments and projects.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory standards.
  • Assess risk management processes and internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations throughout the audit process.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior auditors, enhancing their skills and knowledge in auditing practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the organization’s financial and compliance objectives.
