YOU QUALIFY WITH:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in accounting, business administration, finance, economics or a related field; plus three years of full-time experience in: Accounting, program financial performance, or IT auditing or, Management information systems analysis, business process analysis, contract monitoring, or Positions which provided extensive knowledge of agency budgetary controls, or Administrative procedures and related state and federal regulatory laws. Education and experience may substitute for one another.
  • A license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas, a certificate to practice as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will satisfy the educational requirement and two years of the required experience.
