About the Role We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and people-oriented Part-Time Office Manager & HR Coordinator to help support our Austin office operations and employee experience. This Role Is Ideal For Someone Who… Enjoys being the operational “glue” that helps teams run smoothly Likes balancing people interaction with administrative organization Thrives in dynamic environments where priorities evolve quickly Wants meaningful exposure to HR, recruiting, operations, and workplace management Is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out independently Values collaboration, professionalism, and building strong workplace culture Work Schedule & Environment Part-time position based in our Austin office Approximately 3 on-site days per week Flexible scheduling may be available depending on business needs Collaborative, team-oriented, startup-style environment What You'll Own/Do: Office & Workplace Operations Serve as the primary on-site coordinator for the Austin office 3 days per week Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment Manage and purchase office supplies, food/beverages, equipment, vendor relationships, deliveries, and facilities needs. Support office budgeting, invoice tracking, and expense coordination Assist with meeting logistics, visitor coordination, and team events Manage travel-related bookings, scheduling, and expense reimbursements, as needed. Help manage workplace policies, documentation, and operational processes Coordinate with IT and vendors on basic office technology and workspace needs HR & Recruiting Coordination Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees and contractors Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications Maintain employee records and HR documentation within Rippling and internal systems Assist with recruiting operations, job postings, candidate tracking, and interview logistics Help support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and company events Coordinate periodic HR processes including performance reviews, training tracking, and organizational updates Assist with maintaining compliance-related documentation and processes Administrative & Team Support Provide operational and administrative support to leadership as needed Help improve internal organization, workflows, and process efficiency Support cross-functional coordination between teams in North America and global offices Assist with ad hoc projects related to People Operations, recruiting, culture, and general management What We Require for this Role: 2+ years of experience in office administration, HR coordination, recruiting coordination, or workplace operations Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and to thrive in a fast-moving startup or growth-stage environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information professionally Strong proficiency with modern workplace tools and software platforms Ability to work independently and proactively identify operational needs Must be available to work on-site in Austin approximately 3 days per week Bonus Points for Candidates Who Have: Experience supporting HR or recruiting functions Experience using HRIS or ATS platforms such as Rippling Experience coordinating across remote or international teams Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack/Lark, Canva, or similar collaboration platforms Prior experience in a technology company, startup, or SaaS environment Perks & Benefits: Career Development Opportunities: Access to learning resources, mentorship, and professional growth.
