Babcock is seeking an experienced and purpose-driven AIC Manager to join our Defence High Frequency Communications Program, based at our Engineering and Technology Hub in Abbotsford, Victoria. This full-time role reports directly to the Program Director and plays a key part in delivering the JP9101 program—supporting sovereign capability and strengthening Australia’s defence communications infrastructure.
As AIC Manager, you’ll lead the refinement and execution of AIC opportunities in support of the acquisition and sustainment plans, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and national policy frameworks. You’ll work closely with government agencies, education providers, and industry partners to promote STEM pathways, support Indigenous participation, and engage with Veteran Affairs to foster inclusive and impactful supply chain outcomes. You will lead the capture of these opportunities from concept to contract award, in collaboration with Babcock’s Procurement & Supply Chain function.
You’ll be responsible for driving Australian Industry Capability across the program, facilitating knowledge transfer, and enabling domestic suppliers to access global opportunities through Babcock’s broader network. Your expertise will also support future bid development, contributing to strategic growth across our Defence portfolio.
This is a unique opportunity to influence national capability, shape industry engagement, and be part of a team committed to creating a safe and secure world.
