• Support and perform data entry to maintain and update authorization requests in the utilization management system.
• Assist the utilization management team in tracking and documenting authorizations and referrals, adhering to established policies and guidelines.
• Contribute to the authorization review process by gathering necessary medical information (e.g., history, diagnosis, prognosis) and ensuring it’s submitted to clinical reviewers for authorization determinations.
• Stay current on healthcare industry trends, prior authorization processes, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, while ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and standards
