Description Job Type: Full-time, in-person Expected hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday Must be a resident of Kingman before starting position. Job Overview: The ideal candidate for our Authorizations Specialist and Patient Services Representative will have a strong background in medical terminology, insurance verification, customer service, and office administration. Heavy phone use, answering a multi-line phone Insurance authorization for medication and procedures Check insurance eligibility Schedule patient appointments for multi-provider practice Assist with and/or relay patient requests/questions to medical assistants or other clinical staff Provide services in the Front Office, including check-in and check-out Monitor provider schedules to ensure scheduling accuracy Perform various administrative duties such as processing medical records and test results Other projects/duties as directed Requirements Exceptional customer service skills Healthcare administration skills preferred Insurance verification experience preferred Front-office receptionist experience preferred Must believe in a patient-centered approach Outstanding teamwork attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Work at an efficient and fast pace Must be self-motivated Must have excellent time management skills
