Key Responsibilities: - Review and process authorization requests for medical services and procedures. - Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to gather necessary information. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies regarding authorizations. - Maintain accurate records of authorization requests and outcomes in the system. - Follow up on pending authorizations and resolve any issues that may arise. - Provide support and guidance to healthcare providers regarding authorization requirements. - Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and regulations affecting authorizations.
