Job Posting Number: E2025-19  Position Type: Autism Services Therapist –Casual/On-Call  Location: Sharbot Lake, Ontario  Salary: $34.85-$37.54 hourly – Salary Commensurate with Experience     Maltby Centre is an inclusive, equitable and welcoming workplace is the lead regional agency for Mental Health and Autism Services, with an experienced and compassionate team of professionals who provide high quality, community-based health and support services to children and youth in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington (KFL&A).  Formerly known as Pathways for Children & Youth, Maltby Centre is a registered charity and not-for-profit agency established in 1996 and funded in part by the Ontario government.  Through the work of our dedicated staff, Maltby Centre creates possibilities for change in young lives.    Position Details  * This position will support Maltby Centre rural locations with their home office being in Sharbot Lake.This role will focus onserving clients in the Rural areas of KFLA. * The Autism Services Therapist provides individual, and group applied behaviour analysis-based programs for assigned children and youth with autism to develop skills in key areas and address behaviours that interfere with functioning in collaboration with families and inter-professional team members.  * Support is also provided to children, youth, and their families to promote generalization and maintenance of skills across settings.   Benefits  * Percentage in lieu of HOOP Pension Plan, and benefits * In-house training * Flexible Work Schedules   Qualifications  * Behavioural Science Advanced Diploma Program and/or Autism and Behavioural Science Graduate Certificate or HonoursBachelor Degree in Psychologyor other related discipline (e.g. Behavioural Psychology, Behavioural Science), preferred, or Child and Youth Worker Diploma withdemonstratedknowledge of autism, child development, and Applied Behaviour Analysis. * Experience providing Applied Behaviour Analysis based programs, an asset. * An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. * Demonstrated knowledge of autism and child development and the ability to implement Applied Behaviour Analysis based programs. * Ability tocomply withMaltby Centre driving policy and drive clients within the Kingston area. * Strong group facilitation skills with the ability to assess group dynamics and respond flexibly to various learning styles. * French languageproficiency, written and verbal is an asset.    Maltby Centre is committed to principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace and recognizes the value that diverse employees bring to the programs and services offered to children and youth in our community.
