JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing support and assistance to individuals with autism, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their personal goals. The ideal candidate will have a background in special education or experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching are essential for success in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with people with autism or other disabilities is highly desirable.
• Background in teaching or special education is preferred.
• Previous experience with children, particularly in a care or educational setting.
• Familiarity with toddler care practices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members.
• A compassionate attitude and a strong commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently when required.
