Description Job Title: Auto Body & Paint Technician (Part-Time) Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Plant Optimization Manager Revision Date: February 5, 2026 Job Purpose: The Auto Body & Paint Technician role supports our production team by preparing surfaces, sanding, painting, and finishing work on Revel Boats. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with auto body or paint experience who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: Sand and prepare boat hull, deck, and parts for paint Perform basic masking and tape-off before painting Assist with painting using automotive or marine grade paints Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a clean, finished look Identify obvious cosmetic issues Required Skills/Abilities Auto-body work, paint preparation, or automotive painting Familiarity with sanding tools, buffers, and basic paint equipment Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Attention to detail and pride in quality work Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in auto body work, paint prep, or painting preferred Previous work in a manufacturing, body shop, or repair shop environment Hands-on experience with sanding, cleaning, or prepping surfaces, making, taping, and protecting surfaces before for paint Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature occasionally Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time Must be able to wear a respirator Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary This is a safety-sensitive position Americans with Disability Specifications The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
