OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
  • Proficiency in using body shop tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and materials
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as repair manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred

Responsibilities
  • Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs
  • Perform body repairs including sanding, filling and painting smaller panels
  • Replace or repair damaged panels, bumpers, and other components including interior panels
  • Knowledge of dent pulling, frame pulling, welding and colour matching is an asset. Not required in this roll.
  • Change and/or program airbags and sensors
  • Utilize various tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles
