Description Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for an Auto Desk Appraiser - Claims Representative II to join our Casualty Team. The ideal candidate will reside in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio or Kentucky. The Auto Desk Appraiser is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and/or preparing estimates for vehicle damages and reaching agreed upon repair pricing with body shops and other repair vendors. The appraisal of the vehicles will primarily be handled through digital photographs, repair shop documentation and other digital resources. Additionally, the right candidate will regularly communicate with claims adjusters, agents and customers as to inspection status and conclusions, the required repairs, negotiations and any other follow-up and problem resolution needed.
