We are a well-established automotive service provider located in Toowoomba, known for our commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a qualified Vehicle Electrician to join our growing team.
Job Title: Automotive Electrician
Report to: Director
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 2 years of full-time, relevant work experience.
Formal qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with industry-standard tools and safety protocols.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate diagnostic and test equipment to identify electrical and electronic malfunctions.
Dismantle and remove faulty electrical assemblies, wiring and components. Install new electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles. Connet vehicle accessories and power-operated systems to the power supply. Adjust and calibrate engine control systems, including ignition timing. Test, repair, and replace alternators generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors. Diagnoses and repair ignition systems and electrical wiring faults. Replace defective parts such as fuses, lamps, switches, and related components. Service, diagnose, and repair vehicle air conditioning systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with industry-standard tools and safety protocols.
