Experience:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Auto Electrician role is a full-time permanent position. This role is based at our Burbush facility in Hamilton and will report to General Manager NZ.

• Ensuring work is always completed safely and process and procedures are followed.
• Working across a range of KOR products, but primarily on the sweeper production line.
• Completing relocation of electrical components on vehicle chassis.
• Fitting of electrical options such as camera systems, beacon, light bars, additional lighting, isolators etc.
• Working with mechanical team to complete dual control conversions of truck chassis.
• Where required create patch harness and dual control changeover harness.
• Diagnose and fault find issues with production sweepers.
• Learn and develop expertise for the sweeper product including electrical systems on chassis, street sweeper and auxiliary engines.
• Follow defined procedures to assemble truck mounted street sweepers and other industrial equipment.
• Use of general hand tools including battery powered tools.
• Follow run-up, QA and testing procedures.
• All tools supplied and electrical components on hand to ensure work is efficient.
• Predelivery services to customize equipment

Right Incumbent for this role will possess:

• Prior experience working in a relevant role whilst completing an accredited training course in Auto Electrics.
• High quality work output with attention to accuracy and detail.
• High level of energy and sense of urgency.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with great interpersonal and customer service skills.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ROLE:

• Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and two reference checks are required (Mandatory)
• Full working rights in Australia (Mandatory)
• Valid HR and Driver’s License
