Riverside Commercial Services have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Auto Electrician to join their team based in Stockton-on-Tees.
Riverside Commercial Services are a leading independent commercial vehicle repair company and parts supplier based in Stockton-on-Tees. We provide a high-quality service for our customers, being responsible for maintaining and repairing customer vehicles and fleets and inspecting vehicles to VOSA standard. We supply a wide range of parts to both trade and the general public. Over the last 2 years we have seen a positive increase in work and following our successful merger with Electro Diesel North East, we are now recruiting for several positions to meet our customer’s needs.

Auto Electrician - Key Responsibilities:

• To test electrical circuits, components and diagnose faults.
• General diagnostics and electrical work on commercial vehicles
• Service, adjust and overhaul electrical components using equipment and tools in a proper, efficient and safe manner, including component removal and refitting where necessary.
• Interpret and implement technical service instruction data.
• Carry out manufacturer’s modification as required and keep abreast of technical developments.
• Air-conditioning servicing, fault investigation and repair (training given to the right candidate)
• Tachograph calibration, installation, and repair (training given to the right candidate)

· Test and carry out repairs to starter motors and alternators.

· Fit Camera kits & Beacons

• Support HGV Technicians with electrical work

HOURS OF WORK:

8am – 5pm, Mon to Fri. Occasional Saturday work if required (Paid at time and a half)
