JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are serviced to the highest standards of quality and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an auto mechanic in a workshop or service center.
  • Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work with both petrol and diesel vehicles.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in various types of vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, battery replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Repair or replace worn and damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and steering components.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve faults.
  • Ensure all repair work is carried out efficiently, accurately, and within established timelines.
  • Maintain proper records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
  • Comply with company safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work area.
  • Assist in training junior mechanics or helpers when required.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
